The shaped oversailing top has a crossbanded edging. The knee hole has a carved recessed panelled drawer, the drawer has a brass handle. To the left is a lockable carved recesesed panelled cupboard door, the door has brass hinges, escutcheons and key. To the right are four carved drawers, each drawer has a brass handle. The desk can be positioned anywhere in a room and sat at either side as there are two shaped carved recessed panels and shaped knee hole. There is a foot rest in the middle. Recessed panelled ends, this fantastic desk stands on eight carved shaped cabriole shaped legs. There is also a matching shaped back carved oak desk chair.
