Made in outstanding quality mahogany and in excellent condition. The oversailing top has carved decoration, below are four lockable glazed doors, the central pair of doors are brakefront in design. The doors have stylish wood barring decoration and bevelled glass, a sure sign of quality. The two central lockable dummy drawers drop down and sit on retractable rests, when open it reveals a fabulous secretaire interior consisting of pigeonholes, drawers and a central lockable cupboard door, there are also secret compartments. The interior of the fall has a tooled leather surface. Below are a pair of lockable cupboard doors these doors open to reveal a removable shelf; the central section is flanked by a pair of drawers, each drawer having a pair of urn decorated brass handles. Below the drawers is a lockable cupboard door, the doors open to reveal a removable shelf. Four fabulous reeded columns this exquisite secretaire bookcase stands on six bracket feet. A truly spectacular bookcase.
