A chance to buy a beautiful and rare school cabinet in glorious pitch pine.  The shaped pediment sits above a pair of lockable glazed doors, the doors open to reveal three adjustable and removable shelves.  Below is a sloping glass display case which has a drop down door to the front.  this sits above two lockable cupboard doors.  The doors open to reveal a fixed shelf.  The cabinet sits on a platform base.  The cabinet sits on a platform base.  The cabinet dates Circa 1890 and came from a Grammer School where it was used in the science department.  There is a name plaque above the doors which reads "Richard Smith, Smithy Gate Mill, Padiham"  A quirky but functional item of fine English made quality furniture.
