Made entirely of solid oak and is in excellent condition.The table comes from a Cheshire Country House.The table measures a whopping 5 m 8 cm long; consisting of four emormous oak planks with cleated ends, carved freize, raised on eight baluster and block ring turned supports united by chamfered stretcher supports.The table is peg jointed throughout with a bird carving on each of the eight legs.
The matching set of eighteen oak dining chairs consists of two carver armchairs and sixteen single chairs. Each of these robust dining chairs have a shaped top rail, vertical splats, padded stuff-over seat with turned and block front legs. The studded upholstery is in a nuetral fabric and in immaculate condition.
