Description
This top quality oak bureau bookcase dates circa 1920 and is in the Jacobean style. Stepped top with carving to the front sits above a pair of glazed doors, the doors having decorative wood barring, the doors open to reveal three adjustable and removable shelves. The bureau fall front having two shaped recessed panels. The fall opens and sits on retractable rests. The fitted interior consists of the pigeonholes and drawers. Below are two carved drawers, each drawer having a pair of brass drop handles. Turned legs to the front, stretcher supports this fabulous bureau bookcase stands on two turned feet to the front.
