Swan neck pediment top sits above a pair of lockable glazed doors, the doors open to reveal two adjustable and removable shelves, below is a fall front which sits on two retractable slides, the fall front has a leathered writing section with pigeonholes and drawer. Below are four serpentine shaped graduated drawers, each drawer has a pair of ring handles. The bureau bookcase stands on four bracket feet.
