Description
This exceptional shaped desk is in excellent condition. Shaped and decorated throughout with marquetry inlay this desk can be admired from every angle. Made from numerous exotic woods including olive wood, tulip wood and rosewood. The shaped top has a brass edging. Below is a shaped lockable drawer, the drawer having ormolu decoration and key. The central drawer is flanked by a pair of smaller shaped drawers, each drawer having an ornate ormolu handle. Each of the four shaped legs have ormolu mounts to the top and feet. A beautiful item of French furniture.
